Therapy that’s grounded in empathy, authenticity and compassion

Is therapy right for me?

Here are some questions women often ask themselves before starting therapy:

  1. Am I carrying more mental and emotional weight than I can manage on my own?

  2. Do I feel like I’ve lost touch with who I am outside of my roles as a partner, mom, or professional?

  3. Have I tried to set boundaries, but always end up back in the same cycle of people-pleasing and burnout?

  4. Do I struggle to quiet my inner critic, even when I know I’m doing my best?

  5. Are old wounds or past traumas resurfacing in ways I didn’t expect, especially now in midlife?

If you answered yes to even one of these, therapy may be the right next step.

How therapy is different from coaching

Coaching can help you set goals and take action in the present. Therapy goes deeper. It helps you understand the “why” behind your patterns. Therapy often helps you uncover the roots of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the anxiety that keeps you up at night. Sometimes, life transitions like perimenopause or parenting teens stir up old traumas and past experiences you thought were long resolved. Therapy gives you the safe, supportive space to explore and heal those deeper layers, so you’re not just learning new skills, you’re breaking free from what’s been holding you back for years.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I specialize in helping women through midlife transitions, ADHD and neurodivergence, and the mental load that comes with doing it all. My style blends compassion with practical strategies, so you’ll feel both supported and equipped with tools you can use right away. I am only licensed to provide therapy services in Texas.

Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel truly seen and understood, not just as the roles you play, but as the whole person you are.

I made this little pot in pottery class, and it reminds me that growth, like art, takes time and heart.
